Join The Walden School Summer Program 2023!
Get ready for an unforgettable summer experience filled with music, creativity, and a diverse range of exciting activities. At The Walden School, we believe in nurturing the holistic development of our students, which is why our transformative program goes beyond music education.
Immerse yourself in the captivating world of music while also exploring your passion for Ballet/Tap Dance, Swimming Lessons, Gymnastics, and Taekwondo. Our experienced instructors will guide you through these activities, allowing you to express yourself through movement, build strength and agility, and discover new ways to channel your energy.
Summer Registration and Other Information
Summer registration is $25.00 for children not currently enrolled for the
2022-2023 school year.
Kindergarten graduates and above receive weekly SRA Reading and Math Labs sponsored
by Study Dorm. They will also receive 4 private free-swimming at a First Colony pool, all included in their tuition. Weekly field trips are listed on your age-group’s calendar.

Field Trips
Walden T-shirts
Must be worn on all field trips and can be
purchased for $10 each.
Swimming
Field trips take place on Tuesdays. Students will need to come to school with their swimsuits and towels. Sandals may be worn to and from the pool but we prefer close-toed shoes for the rest of the day at school. Every student will have to show their swim ability to our teachers. If a puddle jumper is to be worn, please bring to school
Extracurricular Activities for Summer 2023
Swimming Lessons
will be offered to students age 3 and above. Classes are provided by Southwestern Aquatics Team (www.swimwithswat.org) at the Don Cook FBISD Natatorium behind Walden. There are 4, 2 week sessions with the first session beginning June 5th. Classes are Monday through Thursday; 30 minutes per class. There is a yearly registration plus session fee. Registration is on-line at www.swimwithswat.org. (Click on “Register for Swim Lessons“ and use the program filter to choose the class wanted. Registration is open now for the first session.
Gymnastics
will be offered to students age 3 and above through Sugar Land Gymnastics. There will be one session for eight weeks, one class per week. The summer session starts week of June 5th and ends on July 27th. Forms can be found at the front desk to sign up for available spaces.
Ballet/Tap
will be offered to students age 3 and above at Walden on Fridays beginning the week of June 26th, and ending July 28th. There will be one session for 5 weeks, one class per week on Wednesdays. Forms can be found at the front desk to sign up for available spaces.
Taekwondo
will be offered to students ages 4 and above here at Walden. There will be one session for 7 weeks beginning June 5th and ending July 31st. There will be no class
